VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Fraser Valley Pregnancy Centre
- Fraser Valley Pregnancy Centre would like you to look into the possibility of joining our team of trained volunteers. Shifts are only 4 hours long and you may also answer hot line calls from the comfort of your home. Please contact Valda 604-856-9151 or e-mail: info@fvpc.ca
Douglas Park School
- Breakfast - volunteers needed from 7:30 to 8:45 am Monday to Friday. Help cook a breakfast for 20-30 Students. Please contact Penny at highames@shaw.ca or sue@lefc.ca
Harvest Box (last Thursday of each month)
- A Harvest Box Coordinator is needed to help meet the needs of hungry people in Langley. The Coordinator works alongside Langley Family Services to organize volunteers once for the once a month Harvest Box distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. For more information contact sue@lefc.ca
Langley's Extreme Weather Shelter
- This year LEFC will be the site of Langley's Extreme Weather shelter, offering a warm dry place to sleep for anyone who needs it on nights when the temperature drops below -2, or when the weather has been consistently inclement. Volunteers for evening, night and morning shifts are needed, training is provided. For more info contact sue@lefc.ca
